NADMO Gives To La Flood Victims

Story: W.K. Adusu
As part of its responsibilities, the La Dadekotopon Municipal Branch of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), has donated various food items to some flood and fire victims in the area, for their up-keep.
Beneficiaries of the gifts are mostly the elderly who suffered, and are continually suffering some form of hardship as result of the recent floods in their areas out of the heavy down pour that affected many houses around that area, especially, those near palm-wine junction.
And upon its usual daily round in the municipality, the NADMO officials in the area deem it necessary to provide the victims with some items, which include 5kg-bags of rice, to each of the victims.
In another development, some victims of fire out-break within La-Agyemang areas of the Quaye-Abafum-Abbesy electoral area, who were also promised some items earlier have been satisfied; they also received 5kg bags of rice each, as token.
National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) end up sharing a huge number of bags of rice to all the beneficiaries earmarked for them in those areas upon identification of the victims.

Information has it that there were some other victims who would soon get their share of the items after the victims were genuinely identified victims of a natural disaster, than out of negligence.
